BusinessLand Ltd is a Consulting organisation specialising in Managerial Accounting. Managerial Accounting is an 'official name' for providing (timely) answers which are necessary when making crucial decisions. In other words it is 'how to' keep the Owners, the IRD, the Bank Manager, OSH, the Labour Dept happy - or at arms length.

In 1992 BusinessLand Ltd started as a partnership and in 1997 it has been incorporated. From the beginning we have set as a prime objective - 'to assist business owners in building successful businesses'.

Taking into account that most Business Owners are highly skilled in their respective professions, it seems almost inconceivable that business failure rates are so high. Even the businesses that manage to survive, very often are more of a liability than an object of pride and source of financial freedom - to the Owners. But there is good news:

Every business can be successful!!!

There are specific things that must be done and specific information that needs to be known - at the right time. Every business must have:

• an Owner,
• a Manager and
• a Technician.

It is BusinessLand's task to make sure that you - the Business Owner - balance the three roles. Even if you employ others you still need to 'wear the three hats' from time to time.

Being a Technician ... well ... you could teach us a thing or two;

Being a Business Owner ... it may seem obvious, but it is a required skill. A simple question illustrates the above point: Is my business making money for me or is it a source of a never ending - often low paid - job?

Being a Business Manager ... this is where we can help you.

Saving a lot of time is yet another bonus. Just remember the steps are easier than they seem (or others would like you to believe). The whole system is a collection of simple tasks (what and when). We can tailor make the system to suit your style or needs. You may choose to delegate someone to learn how to operate the accounting software. You may want us to process the information and have the reports ready for you.
